Take a stroll on Back Harbour Beach one evening, famed for its beautiful sunsets. Back Harbour is also the site of the 1963 pre-Beothuck archaeological dig

Watch the icebergs drifting down from the North Atlantic during the summer months, slowly making their way through Iceberg Alley, or catch the migrating Humpback whales and dolphins at play.  Take one of the three boat tour operators in town for a closer view.

Stop at St. Peter's Anglican Church, built in 1839 to admire the expert craftsmanship in design and architecture. Pay a visit tot the Anglican cemetery in Snelling's Cove where a monument was erected in memory of  Miss Georgina Stirling,, the world-famous soprano opera singer who died here in her native town in 1935.

Interesting Walk/Climb over the hill behind the Harbour Lights Inn takes you to Back Harbour with a breathtaking view over the ocean looking west.

Take the kids to the beach and visit the
  Long Point Lighthouse for guided tours.
